If we are suppose to test all ideas about God against the Bible, does that mean that all we know about God ultimately come from the Bible?

well thats a nice question.
let me remind you. bible is just one book in the series of revelation.
Allah has sent down books and Sahifa [pl: Suhuf] (little books) to many Prophets the exact number of which is only known to Allah and His Beloved Prophet. Of all these heavenly books four are very prominent i.e. Torah which was revealed to Prophet Moses, Zabur (the original Psalms) to Prophet David, Bible (new Testament) to Prophet Jesus and the last one which is the highest and best is the Glorious Qur-aan which Allah Almighty has gifted to His Darling Elect Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah's choicest blessings & peace be upon him).
so theres a lot about him which we don't know. but what i know is that he is the creator, the one supreme being, the artist.

well,i think that we learn alot from the bible,
but significant part Comes from the faith.
Hi lisa...do you believe that any non-biblical knowledge must be tested against the Bible?
That's a good question. I believe it's a combination of, the bible, ancient scriptures, and science. Not just the bible.
Then the question that must be asked is which do you listen to when they do not agree?
